About Us My Name is Alan Metcalf. I have been lucky enough to have been raised on Oregon's Wild Rivers Coast. Since I was a young boy, I have had the good fortune of spending time in the outdoors Hunting, Fishing and Camping on the World Famous Rogue River. By the time I was 12, I knew that I wanted to share the gifts that the Rogue River has to offer. It could be the amazing acrobatics of a jumping Steelhead or the heart pounding excitement you get from a 30 pound King Salmon surging at the end of your line, or one of Oregon's glowing sunrises illuminating the mountains seemingly awakening all of God's creatures, or to watch a fiery sunset only to finally be taken over by the inky blackness reminding us of another perfect day spent in paradise.
